The Heat

Parked in the Sun All Day

Most cars in Rai spend the working day in open factory parking. In summer, with temperatures above 45°C, the cabin becomes far hotter than the outside air. The drive home starts with a burning steering wheel and an AC that takes ages to catch up. Over years, dashboards crack and seats fade.

Window film reduces how much heat and UV enters through the glass. The cabin heats up more slowly, cools faster and the interior lasts longer. Film also reduces glare on NH-44 in the afternoon sun.

Films

Window Film Options

Dyed film

Affordable privacy, about 99% UV block and 30–40% heat rejection.

Carbon film

A sleek matte finish, about 50–60% heat rejection and no signal interference.

Ceramic film

The best heat-resistant window film, rejecting 70–99% of heat while staying light.

For cars parked outdoors all day, ceramic film gives the biggest difference in comfort.

Rules

Legal Shades

Indian rules require at least 70% visible light transmission on the windscreen and rear glass and at least 50% on side windows. Dark black film is not allowed and is checked regularly on NH-44.

We install only legal shades and can show you the VLT rating. A clear ceramic windscreen film cuts heat without visible tint.

Read our guide on window tinting rules in India, and check the latest transport department notices.

Business Owners

For Factory Owners & Managers

Rai is home to hundreds of manufacturing units, and many owners and managers drive premium cars — Fortuner, XUV700, Creta and luxury sedans — that sit in factory parking all day. Industrial fallout is particularly hard on these cars, and the cost of letting paint or interiors deteriorate is high.

For these customers we often recommend ceramic window film, which keeps premium leather interiors cooler and protects them from UV damage. We can schedule work around your working hours with pickup from your unit, so the car is collected in the morning and returned by evening where the job allows.

Company cars and small fleets are welcome too — we keep a simple record of what was done on each vehicle.

Care

After Installation

Keep windows up for three to four days. Slight haze early on is normal. Clean with a soft, damp microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner; avoid stickers and sharp objects on the film.

Old purple or illegal film is removed carefully, with all adhesive, before new film goes on — without damaging the rear demister.

Choosing

Choosing the Right Film

For short trips around Sonipat and Rai, dyed film gives privacy at a sensible budget. For daily NH-44 commuters, carbon film offers better heat control and a clean look that does not fade. For cars that stand in factory parking from morning to evening, ceramic film makes the biggest difference — it rejects the most heat while staying light enough to remain legal.

We fit sample pieces on your own windows so you can feel the difference before choosing.
